Handmade paper images, or pulp paintings, by Keith Anderson introduce  a unique medium. No paint, pastel, watercolor or ink is used to create the images. Pulp is dyed and poured on a screen, the image is the paper.

Send your questions to info@handmadepaperimages.com and we will promptly respond. You may also call 913-789-9287 to discuss a specific piece or consider a commission.

The Essence of Handmade Paper...

Throughout time, paper has been the mirror of the soul. Exceptional in its suppleness, solidity and whiteness, yet easily destroyed, this material has shown itself to be so entirely 'human' in its weaknesses and faults that it has become the symbol of culture itself.  Without it, there  would be no history, no memory. It has passed divine wisdom, philosophical precepts, scientific laws and political will. Writers, historians, poets and painters all owe their livelihood and their public recognition to paper. -- Dominique Buisson
